Job Vacancy: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Role Summary:

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Nevadic, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and overall organizational efficiency. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various operational functions within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the company’s operational strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness across all operational functions, ensuring seamless and sustainable business operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Foster collaboration between different departments to streamline processes and enhance communication channels.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align operational strategies with overall corporate goals.
• Resource Management:
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Oversee procurement, logistics, and supply chain management to ensure a smooth flow of materials and services.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations and ensure the company’s operations comply with all legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and uphold ethical standards.
• Technology Integration:
  • Identify and implement technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that can contribute to the company’s competitive advantage.
• Financial Management:
  • Collaborate with the CFO to manage and optimize financial resources effectively.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for operational departments, ensuring financial sustainability.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to address unforeseen disruptions.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performance operational team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a similar executive leadership role within the renewable energy sector.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry trends
• Business Planning and Operations Management skills
• Analytical skills to assess business performance and develop strategies
• Finance and Budgeting skills to manage company finances and resources effectively
• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
• 10+ years relevant experience
